La Mezquita, a fantastic winery built in 1974 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Fundador. It is a spectacular architectural site that is a fitting tribute to its history and to an outstanding winery.

Fundador winery was founded in 1730 and is said to be the oldest winery in Jerez: the winery is part of the Fundador brand, a wine producer closely linked to Pedro Domecq Loustau, creator of the first Spanish brandy. They were pioneers of French origin and British connections, who also had close links to architecture.
