Located in the Sierra de Guadarrama National Park, La Pedriza takes its name from the spectacular rock formations that abound in the area. With an area of 3,200 hectares, it is the largest protected area in the Community of Madrid. Its trails cross forests, streams and cliffs that attract climbers, hikers and naturalists. It is one of the most emblematic enclaves of Madrid to enjoy the mountain in its wildest state.
