This is a mechanical doll with a baby Jumeau head and hands in biscuit. The body in cardboard houses the mechanism. It has staring brown eyes in blown glass, pierced ears and an open mouth showing its teeth; it has a wig in natural hair. § It is able to make three different movements. § It is wearing a dress in natural silk with applied lace and guipure. The bottom of its dress is decorated with original cloth flowers. It is holding a marotte (puppet) with the head in biscuit, glass eyes and decorated with champagne coloured silk flowers in one hand; in the other a green-blue silk and tulle parasol with a handle in metal and wood. § The wooden box is covered with red velvet; the key bears the initials "L.B.", these are of Léopold Lambert and his wife Eugénie Bourgeois.
