One of the details that makes the Refettorio in London so special is the cluster of paper lanterns that brighten the upper reaches of the vaulted ceiling, helping to create a more intimate atmosphere. It's thanks to that atmosphere that guests at Refettorio Felix can dine in a “public space that makes people feel at home” - just like Ilse Crawford imagined it to be.
