Zaragoza, Spain

Ceramic oil lamp with upside-down rectangular (GEMINI) stamp on the outside of the disc, next to the spout. The disc has a crescent-shaped decoration located around the feeding hole. It is missing the handle, part of the tank and the final end of the spout. The piece is restored

There are no signs of use, which could indicate "that they were only used once" (A. Morillo).

The group to which it belongs has been recognized as having a possible ritual use. The Gemini seal "could allude to Gemini and the divine twins. If so, a propitiatory ritual of life-death-rebirth would fit" (Á.Morillo).
