Landscape and Variable, Bounty and Burden of History

In this work, Dunlap creates a non-literal landscape which features conflicting elements that are juxtaposed to tell a story of times in the past and present. He uses symbolic elements to narrate two centuries of progress witnessed by the landscape. Dunlap references the ineitable conflict between man and nature.
