Designed by Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo for the Century Guild, this textile features vertical bands of large tulip-like flowers adorned with buds with leaves. It is printed in yellow, ochre, pink and two shades of green, the outline of the design is in a deep reddish brown on a cream ground. The cotton was most likely printed by Simpson and Godlee of Manchester, England.
