Aerial image of a site in the enormous Chetumal Bay. The runoff channels from the wetlands carry the reddish waters of the red mangrove (Rhizophora mangle) leachate. When these waters mix with those of the bay and the almost white limestone soil, these blue-yellow-reddish tones are observed.
