Between 1885 and 1943 the Arcade Manufacturing Company of Freeport, Illinois, made a number of metal products, but it is best known for its cast-iron playthings, including cars, buses, planes, farm vehicles, saving banks, and even pint-sized tools and garden implements sturdy enough to use in an actual garden, such as this miniature cast-iron lawnmower.
