This slightly larger than life sculpture titled 'Le Réveil' (fr. reawakening) depicts a nude female stretching as if awakening from sleep.
Laurent-Honoré Marqueste was a French sculptor, born in Toulouse, working in the neo-Baroque Beaux-Arts tradition. He was famed for his large number of allegorical figurative sculptures 'Perseus Slaying Medusa' and 'The Centaur and Deianira'
This 3D printable model was digitised in collaboration between Scan the World and The Musée des Augustins. The sculpture was scanned in the museum and has been shared with their permission. The model can be downloaded and 3D printed from Scan the World.
