Full title: Leaflet Mylėk, lietuvi, tą brangią žemę, issued on behalf of the Lithuanian Exile Community to Branguolė Kairaitytė, emigrating to the USA, Eichstätt-Rebdorf, Germany, May 6, 1949.
Lithuanians leaving Europe permanently were sent off by Lithuanian organizations. One of such organizations was the Lithuanian Exile Community founded in Hanau in 1946, which joined the German Lithuanian Community in the late 1950s. The Community’s leaflet on display was a kind of an oath and an obligation for Lithuanians emigrating to distant countries not to forget their origins and always remember what their real homeland was.
