On a lighthearted note, Eileen painted this gigantic frog for the fun of it. Though people were her favorite subjects, she also enjoyed the offbeat, like this frog with a seemingly inquiring mind. She enjoyed painting pigs and cattle, and was particularly taken with a small painting she did of a calf. “Animals have personality,” Eileen said. “I get so tickled painting chickens and pigs. It is not the subject matter that is so important to an effective painting. It is the design and composition. Just about anything can make a good painting if the design is well thought out and solid.”
