Composer, guitarist and singer Lee Westwood has been writing music since he could hold down a chord. Largely self-taught, his music draws influences from a wide field of cultures and traditions, including Modern Jazz, Folk from across Europe and the Americas, and the past 150 years of contemporary composition. With an impressive touring and recording history, an extensive backcatalogue of releases, and a growing number of commissions by leading purveyors of contemporary music, Lee's recent works have been supported by such organisations as the Arts Council, Sound And Music and The Prince's School Of Traditional Arts. Lee also plays guitar with Folk/Hip Hop group Dizraeli & The Small Gods and experimental trio Le Juki.
