Leokadia and Jan Dołębscy

Leokadia and Jan Dołębscy, Hrubieszów, 13 August 1939. They were married just before the outbreak of the Second World War. There is a story in the family that young Leokadia, in her wedding dress, accompanied her mobilised husband to the train. One can only imagine the sadness of that farewell. Fortunately, Jan returned from the war and the couple moved from Hrubieszów to Lębork in 1945.
