Letter from Tachibana Chikanari (Muneshige)/ Private collection

This letter was sent to one of Muneshige’s vassal, informing that Muneshige’s mother was going to Osaka as a hostage again for the term of surrender in the Battle of Sekigahara. There is also a warning not to take off his guard until the transaction is completed.
