Letter n. 7, dated 28th of May 1760. Two of Voltaire’s letters kept from the Bettinellian correspondence, proof of a respect and consideration of the European cultural world. The Jesuit Saverio Bettinelli from Mantua met the French philosopher for the first time in November 1758 in Geneva, honoring him with his volume, recently printed, which included the “Virgilian letters”
