    Dear Mrs. Lysko: In the course of an analysis of old documenation of the Wermacht, we have found on the basis of a report of the 13th [campaign] (I. G.) [Infanteriegeschütz: infantry-support artillery] of the 39th Division that Alojzy Lysko, born on 2 July 1912 in Niederboischow [Dolne Bojszowy] perished on 12 January 1944 near [the village of] Jamki (Ukraine). We send you our condolences because of this great loss to you and members of your family. In order to inform the proper civil record office about the death, we ask you to fill out and return the attached personal questionnaire. Sincerely in name of [signature] (Schulze) 1 attachment
