    On the tenth day of the year 1321, around ten o'clock according to Western time, two persons entered the office of your humble servant, one showing a Greek passport issued by the Greek Consulate of Istanbul to Emanuel Gurgyu dated 16 February 1906 numbered 326, and the other a passport issued by the Kalas (Galatz) Consulate of the above mentioned government to Nikola Y. Eleftheris dated 3/16 and numbered 486, asked for visas as they wished to go to Istanbul. This letter is to confirm that since the description recorded in the said passport corresponded to the identity of the said persons the passport issued to Emanuel Gurgyu was recorded under the registration number of 7066/3594, and the one issued to Nikola Lefteri under registration number 7067/3595 on 10 February 1321, as persons leaving for Istanbul. 18 March of the year 1322.
