A collection of 40 letters written by Tadeusz Kościuszko, the Commander-in-Chief of the 1794 national uprising, to General Stanisław Mokronowski (and his one letter which is undated), who was then the commander of Warsaw and the leader of the uprising in Mazovia. The letters are a valuable source of knowledge about the course of the war campaign and difficulties in maintaining the insurgent army, they also allow to assess the political situation and social moods.
