Liken Skis

In a market as saturated as that of ski brands, Liken Skis has carved out a small niche for itself in a market that values a different, personalised product, designed from scratch for each person, with a direct relationship between craftsman and customer, without intermediaries. The whole process takes place in a small workshop in La Pobla de Lillet (Barcelona), in the Pyrenees. There is a small showroom in the old part of the town, which is part of the same workshop. Visitors and clients can enter and see the workshop, where Oriol Baró explains the process of making the product. He shows both the product and the value of craftsmanship to all those who pass through the workshop, which leaves no one indifferent. Liken Skis won the prize for the best entrepreneurial project at the University of Barcelona's Emprèn UB awards in 2018, and the prize for the best entrepreneurial project at the Concurs d'Idees Emprenedores del Berguedà in 2019.
