Live Fast, Die Old

"Live Fast, Die Old" depicts a pair of matchsticks, one as of yet unlit and the other burned down. The work is part of Sandnes Art Trail, Norway's first official street art trail, based on a desire to activate Sandnes city centre by creating a series of site-specific murals, installations and interventions.

Ella & Pitr are a French street art duo best known for their larger than life figures in a fairytale-like style. The real-life couple hails from Saint-Etienne, France, and have been working together since 2007. Stylistically, they represent a mix of traditional children's book illustration, comic books and graffiti – often painting human figures somewhat ill at ease in their surroundings.
