Living Silver

Each city has something special – urban legends, interesting traditions and values, which you really want to tell on Stenograffia trips.

For example, fish is considered to be one of the riches of Yugra, or as locals call it, "living silver". There is an incredible variety of this "silver" in the territory of Yugra. (Wikipedia says there are 43 species). Long ago it became an entire culture for local people, full of its own stories and traditions.

So we decided to pick up this topic in the framework of Stenograffia-2016 in Khanty-Mansiysk. Now a beautiful carp, a representative of the very "living silver", appeared on the surface called "Dam for the forest".
