Female costume from Đakovo

Woman dressed up in the traditional costume from the region of Đakovo offering a beverage. Traditional costumes are quite elaborate, often with floral designs. Silk or wool are often used. On top of that, fancy embroidery, intricate and decorative silk ribbons and bows, lace work are ofthen present. Women tend to wear big gold or silver jewelry, also coral, amber necklaces or pearls.
