LL COOL J was still a teenager when he became the face of Def Jam records with hard-hitting singles like “Rock the Bells.” Through the 1980s, LL blazed a trail from Queens to the world, becoming one of the best-selling hip hop artists of the decade. Always the entrepreneur, he leveraged his music career into successful ventures in movies, television, fashion, and fitness. The second single from Bigger and Deffer, “I’m Bad” was LL COOL J’s debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
