A woman occupies a large part of the center, and the background is divided into black and white sections, each filled with numerous locks. The woman's figure is somewhat deformed, and the shape of a keyhole can be traced out on her face and neck. While keys and locks are often associated with secrets and sexuality, in this work, the rows of locks that fill the surface can be interpreted as the abundance of choices in life that the woman is free to make. The black and white background and the woman's melancholic face probably suggest the bright and dark sides of each choice.
