Love Field Farewell Party Booklet

This rare booklet commemorates the deactivation of Dallas Love Field as an active military base in March 1919. Love Field served as a training airfield for U.S. combat pilots during World War I. The photograph shows several American JN-4 “Jenny” aircraft returning from a training flight in 1918.
