Love for Cats

This small sculpture attributed to Manuel Felguérez is one of many personal objects kept from Carballido and testifies to his great love of cats. “He woke up eager to do many things at once. The main one was to adopt a cat,” recalled Juan Villoro about the writer. Guillermo Serret described him as “a caresser of cats and scourge of mediocrities.”
