Lower Peachtree Street with Lester's Book Store, the Flatiron Building, Piedmont Hotel, and the Candler Building visible. The 1897 Flatiron and 1906 Candler buildings still stand today, the latter just recently being restored using historic tax credits. The Piedmont Hotel was demolished in 1963.
