Luban, a peak in the Gorce Mountains, is full of marvellous views. Rumour has it that the panorama of the Gorce Mountains from here is one of the most beautiful in the entire Beskids region. At the summit, you will find a viewing tower, a tent base, and the ruins of two shelters. Plans are in place to build a third shelter. While the trails to Luban are not technically difficult, they are steep and time-consuming in places. As they lead mainly through the forest, they provide a great escape from the summer heat. The peak is located outside Gorce National Park. There is a cross there that commemorates the words of Pope John Paul II, who said that he loved visiting this mountain, once he was visiting Gorce.
