Original portrait was created by Daniel Huntington.Lucy Webb was born on August 28, 1831 in Chillicothe, Ohio. She married Rutherford B Hayes on December 30, 1832. They became the parents of eight children. She died in Fremont, Ohio on June 25, 1889 and was buried in Fremont City Cemetery. Later, she was re-interred to Spiegel Grove.
