My work is based on an archive of analogic photographs from my family and strangers. Most of these materials were inherited, found and/or donated, sometimes even bought. These registries work as a way of capturing an instant in the time of our lives. As we look at them, we reencounter with all that kept information, memories, and woven stories. Those weaves are constantly modified by the passing time and the different situations that transform us, our ways to be, of doing and thinking, of rethinking ourselves and the world that surrounds us. I think these registries are a mean to build stories that connect to one another, therefore they might be as well exercises to question and try to understand myself, who I am, where I come from and how I built my identity. I am interested in the passing of time and the internal process that develops in each one of us, like unions, breaks and stitches that inhabit our memory.
