This 360 VR video will introduce you to the ancient heritage discovered in Ohrid (ancient Lychnidus), including the ancient Greek theater and Plaosnik. The ancient theater at Ohrid was built in 200 B.C. and is the only Hellenistic theater in North Macedonia (another three theaters date from the Roman period). During the Roman period, the theater was also used for gladiatorial combats. Plaošnik is a large archeological and historic site on a forested hill to the west of old Ohrid; it has archaeological and architectural remains from all the cultural eras in Ohrid from prehistory to the Ottoman period.
