Jewellery is often exaggerated. Sometimes it is ostentatious, sometimes it is formally complex. Often it is superfluous, affected, confusing or exaggerated. Noroeste is disturbed by what is superfluous. They prefer jewellery that contains the bare minimum. Everything you need, but only what you need. Magic, beauty, durability, subtlety, imagination. They want it to communicate (and to communicate to us through it), but in the simplest possible language. The Línea collection is a very characteristic example of this working philosophy. It was born around the concept of the line. Simple or complex, straight or curved, but always simple. With only one imprint to make it organic, but always keeping in mind the value of geometric simplicity and a delicate texture on the metal, gold or silver, which turns it into skin. The collection is a set of necklaces, bracelets and earrings, in gold, silver and mixed, sometimes with minimal additions of small coloured stones or diamonds, in simple settings. This workshop was awarded the Galician Craft Prize in 2016.
