Maki Oh, Fall 2017

The Maki Oh Fall 2017 collection at Lagos Fashion Week 2016. This collection is inspired by a young lower-middle class woman and her journey to see a lover for a casual encounter. Set on a late Lagos night, the collection follows her through various modes of public transportation – including the iconic Lagos danfo bus, walking on dark roads, and eventually arriving at her lover's home. This collection was unveiled at a private offsite show at Lagos Fashion Landmark and concept store Alara. Models positioned across the mutli-tiered store posed in groups both standing out and blending into the crowd of stylish guests.
