Danila places focus on his craftsmanship and the illusion the artwork creates. Additionally, the use of plastic has ecological subtext. It reminds us that we live in a world dominated by plastic, and the tears in the film imply liberation from it. Danila's work is a symbol of freedom from materialism and the need to buy something every day as advertising dictates. In addition, the color palette resembles malachite, a stone associated with the Ural region. Photo by Dmitry Chabanov.
