Malayan Tiger

The Critically Endangered Malayan tiger (Panthera tigris jacksoni) is one of the smallest species of tigers. In the wild, this species lives in forests where they are free to run and hunt prey which consists of small animals and deer. The roaming area for tigers is estimated to be 100-300 square metres. In the region, Malayan tigers can still be found in some ASEAN Heritage Parks such as Endau Rompin Johor National Park in Malaysia.
