This silk skirt was worn by a man during ceremonial occasions. The dragon roundel pattern on the top and the dragons on the bottom row are rendered with couched gold threads on a dark navy blue gauze background, while the clouds and waves on the bottom are embroidered in counted stitch. The waist is made of durable blue cotton.
