Standing male figurine with solid cylindrical body from Cyprus. He wears a conical cap and has his right arm bent on the chest. The figurine has been made in the so-called "Snowman" technique, which was used widely during the Cypro-Archaic period (750-480 BC) and allowed for the mass production of clay models. The gesture may indicate a worshipper or even a mourner who hits his chest with his hand.
