Woolly Mammoth’s were living in the Niagara region around 12,500 years ago. This is a mammoth molar, which was said to be found on the Cook farm at Muddy Run. Molars are the most commonly found mammoth fossils to find, because they replaced their 4 molars 6 times throughout their life.
