Manufacturers' Plate: Officine Ferroviarie Meridionali S.A. - Napoli (1931)

As with cars, all locomotives, coaches, railcars and wagons received a unique number and information regarding the manufacturer.
Although many of these vehicles have disappeared, it was possible to preserve the record of their existence through their identification plates. There are several types of numbering. This includes Manufacturers' Plates - a type of guarantee seal with the manufacturer name, place and date of manufacture.
