In vase painting, red-figure technique was introduced to Athens around 530 BC and then spread rapidly throughout Magna Graecia. It gradually replaced the black-figure style that had originated in Corinth around 630 BC.
Casa Martini hosts the Martini Wine Museum, opened in 1961 as the first of its kind in Italy. The collection tells the origins of aromatized wines and the aperitivo occasion, with items that date back to the 7th century B.C.
Casa Martini is the heart of the Martini history and production. Located in Pessione, at the company’s historic premises near Turin (Italy), the Martini brand home marks the meeting point between tradition and the future. It is where aperitifs and sparkling wines are developed and created to be enjoyed around the world, but also a place of the soul, where the values that inspired the company founders in 1863 are still tangible.
Casa Martini is a destination for tourists visiting Piedmont and offers a wide range of experiences: the Martini Wine Museum and the Mondo Martini Gallery are the permanent exhibits, together with the Martini Discovery Tour that includes visits to the production plant; Terrazza Martini and the Bar Academy are a perfect set for events and leisure.
