Mary with child, St. Peter, St. Francis and the donors

This lunette containing a relief probably came from the Minorite church dedicated to St Francis in Koper. The workshop of the Venetian sculptor and architect Andriolo de Santi is known to have been active in Koper in the second half of the fourteenth century, after he completed work on the great west door of the church of S. Lorenzo in Vicenza. (Edvilijo Gardina)
