The floral design, kunngobarn mannguy marnbuyindanj in Kunwinjku, is a rare and beautiful motif used by the weavers situated in Gunbalanya and nearby outstations. It was created by Jill Nganjmirra who developed it as a decorative feature of coiled mats and baskets. This twined mat takes the design further, utilising the rich natural dyes to define each element © Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory
