Meadow is an element of the “From Bronowice” triptych, showing August landscapes seen by the artist in rural fields of Małopolska. The triptych was part of Feliks Jasieński’s collection. Tetmajer’s favourite landscape motif was fields of grain. Włodzimierz Tetmajer (1861-1923) attained a particular mastery in their portrayal, successfully showing their delicate movement and changing colours.
