Tom Scutt is a designer for stage, ranging from theatre, opera and dance, to live music and television. Whilst the means of expression are varied, a common aim in his work is to allow a design to embody the spirit of a piece, functioning as both set for performance and as stand alone poetic installation. His work is at its most dynamic when bringing together different artforms across perceived high and low cultures to create something that exists outside of the expected. MEDEA
