Peter Pan, owned by Rodney Dangar and trained by Frank McGrath, won the Melbourne Cup in 1932 and 1934. He is one of only a few horses to win the cup more than once.

This trophy is known as a three-handled loving cup and the design was introduced in 1919. Before then, the cups came in a variety of styles and in some years, no trophy was presented at all.
