Gastroartology®: Metamorphosis I Metamorphosis Variations II

The students of the Gastroartology® course at Yeditepe University's Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts use a fresh perspective while looking at kitchen supplies, having the concept of metamorphosis as their starting point. Metamorphosis is the concept of transformation of a living being into another. Transformation, or shapeshifting, is also a concept that is discovered by visual artists and adopted as a method frequently.

Students of the Gastroartology® course at Yeditepe University's Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts start their careers and their lives with an artistic perspective. Awareness, or discovery, is vital for this perspective, just like the frames taken by our student recognizing these shapes in this visual. Many artistic renovations are created with the discovery of coincidences, just like science. If this was not the case, how interesting could bell pepper pieces be, waiting to be thrown away?
