Green satin full length skirt with drawstring waist, lined in red and covered with multicolored beads and sequins. The design on the front of the skirt incorporates the U.S. and Mexican flags and a stylized cathedral flanked by two angels within a shield with a Latin inscription. The design on the reverse is of the Aztec calendar stone. Cloth label sewn to lining: "'El Traje Regionals' Prof. Maria Luisa Beltran Puga . . . Puebla Pub. Mex." Presented to Eleanor Roosevelt during her visit to Monterrey, Mexico, with FDR to inspect war plants in April 1943. FDR Library Museum Collection, MO 1985.1.27.
