Michael Sugden

Geoffrey says: "Michael is an ambulance paramedic from East Yorkshire. He was nominated to me by Omar Jomeen, one of the other people whose portrait I painted for the #portraitsforNHSheroes thing. I got the sense Michael was a man of few words, but his family spoke of how kind he is and there was a lot of love for him. I'm glad I picked the photo of him where he is smiling. Such a warm smile. I hope I got his expression across. Someone did spot him on Instagram and recognised him, so I may have done alright. They also said he was a really nice guy. I'd like to be a bit more like the version of Michael that I imagine. Speak less. Listen more. Be kind."
