This military uniform was worn during the late Joseon Dynasty. To be dressed in gunbok, a type of military uniforms, an official wears a sleeveless military overcoat over dongdari and put on a wide military belt (yodae) and a military band (jeondae). The entire sleeves or at least part of the sleeves are red and the center line at the back is open for free movement.
